Together by Design Featuring Pinkfresh Studio

Together by Design is a monthly collaboration where a small group of designers all create with products from the same featured brand. Each of us chooses a favorite product and puts our own creative spin on it, showing just how many different ways one brand can inspire. For this month’s Pinkfresh project, I used several different products, and I’ll list all of those at the bottom of this post. I began my project by gold foiling the Timeless Tulips and ink blending using the coordinating stencils. Once satisfied with those results, I trimmed it out with the coordinating die. I really love the product suites that Pinkfresh offers, and am noticing that more companies are jumping on that bandwagon.

My background was created using the Blanket Stitched Octagons with some ink blending and gold splatter. When I was foiling, I went ahead and foiled the sentiment and the small butterfly onto acetate. I’m not sure the Small Butterflies set is made anymore, unfortunately. Those were trimmed out using the coordinating die cuts as well.

The florals were adhered to the background using foam tape, the sentiment was glued in place and the butterfly was secured with strong double sided tape. The panel was adhered to the card base, and I trimmed off the edges with scissors to give it that shaped card look. Some clear drops were in order to finish this project up.

Happy Happy Friday! I recently got the Artful Palette set from @simonsaysstamp and had to get busy creating a few cards using various patterned papers from my hoarding stash! I can’t be the only one that hoards patterned papers, right?!? These cards were quite fun to make, and I’m considering making a few more! I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend! I have so many stamp sets that I haven’t used, and I’ve been trying to make my way through some of them! Today’s project is featuring one of those sets, it’s the Oh, Shiitake set from @simonsaysstamp. An oldie but goodie for sure! I love the addition of the stencil for this product suite, because sometimes I just don’t feel like coloring! Happy Monday, Friends! Today’s post is featuring the Tiny Flora Embossing Folder from @simonsaysstamp Beautiful Moments release. I embossed the panel onto glossy cardstock and used to brayer to add the pink. In the process of brayering, the bottom portion of my panel had ink splotches that I didn’t like, so I just ripped it off and wet with what I had. For this month’s project, I opted to use several products from Kristina including the Pretty Posies Background Stamp, along with Pretty Posies Dies, Written Words Stamps and the Long Line Leaves Dies. My design ended up being a twofer, hence using multiple sentiment sets. Let’s go through the detail

I began by stamping the Pretty Posies Background onto a panel of black cardstock using VeraMark Ink and heat setting that using Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder. I then took my scissors and fussy cut around the flowers creating two separate panels.

Truth be told, I could have cut the panel apart better and ended up with a larger second panel, but what was done was done! Before adhering the panels with foam tape, I did gold splatter both card bases, stamped the Feel Better Soon sentiment with VersaFine Black Onyx ink and heat set that using Ranger Clear Embossing Powder.

I die cut the sentiment for the other card three times using the same black cardstock for a stacked sentiment look, along with three small flowers for added interest. To finish up, I added some gold gems to the centers of the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did! I don’t often do twofer projects, but am pleasantly surprised when it happens that way! Stay tuned next month where we will feature a different brand that all of us will be creating with! Stay awesome, friend and have an awesome day!
