Hello Crafty Lovelies! Thanks so much for stopping by! For today’s project, I played around with the new Blossom Vine die. Of course, I always love the opportunity to play with florals, so let’s go through the details!
Before adhering anything to the card base, I smooshed a little of the Bubblegum ink on my glass mat and used a water brush to flick some splatters on it. The frame was then adhered to the card base using SSS 3D Foam Squares.
I then glued the flower element to the frame, along with a SSS Sentiment Strip. To finish up, I added some PFS Iridescent Clear Drops.
That finishes up this project! It was actually pretty simple, but I love the elegance of this card. I hope you’ll stop by and check out the entire Dream Big release over on Simon’s website. Thanks again for stopping by! Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!
Hello Friends and welcome back! I’m glad you stopped by to check out today’s project featuring the new On the Horizon set from Simon’s latest release, Dream Big. I’ve had a lot of fun with this release making my own backgrounds and ink blending, and today’s project was another fun one! Let’s get into the details!
I used the hello sentiment, which is from the SSS Handlettered Greetings set, and die cut that twice from black cardstock and adhered them together using liquid glue. It was then glued directly to the panel, trimming off any excess.
And that does it for this one! I liked this particular sentiment with this card, because it kind of reminded me of a rope that a cowboy might use in the desert. Maybe that’s a weird thought, I don’t know. I can’t explain how my brain works most of the time! Thanks again for stopping by and don’t forget to swing by the website and check out the entire Dream Big release! Have yourself a fabulous day and as always, stay awesome!
Hello Friends! I’m so glad that you stopped by today! Have you checked out Simon’s latest release, Dream Big? It’s beautiful with so many things to offer! Today’s project is featuring a new embossing folder with die, entitled Terrace Floral. Let’s get into the details!
For the other panel, I used the included die to trim the one floral element out, and I fussy cut a few more of the flowers. Once all of the cutting was done, I adhered the flowers to the panel using SSS 3D Foam Squares, trimming off the excess.
Super simple card, but I like how it turned out! I always like using mainly white on sympathy cards, I guess because it’s soothing. I hope you enjoyed this project and I hope it inspires you to get crafty! Don’t forget to stop by and check out the entire Dream Big release! Have a wonderful day and stay awesome!
