PinkFresh Studio Rainbow Floral Birthday

Hello Friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by! I made today’s card a bit ago, but just haven’t gotten around to writing or posting it. To be honest, I’ve been kind of lazy and lacking in motivation. It happens to all of us .. I think! Anyhoo, this card is featuring the PFS Rainbow Floral Washi, and I just have to say that I’m in love with it! Let’s go through the deets!

I began by adhering the PFS Rainbow Floral Washi to a panel of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock and using the coordinating die to trim out all of the pieces. I actually made a few panels so that I had lots of pieces to work with.

The background texture of the card panel was made using the PFS Diagonal Stitched Plaid. I love using these types of plates on white, because it just adds the slightest bit of detail and interest without distracting from the focal point of the card.

I used the PFS Stitched Scallop Circle dies to cut two of those. One of the smaller and one of the larger circles. I glued the circles together and adhered them to the panel using foam tape. I then arranged some of the rainbow pieces around the circles using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for support.

It needed some extra leaves, of course, so I cut a few using the PFS Leafy Branch die and tucked those under the edges securing with glue. I had previously made the sentiment using the PFS Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate, along with Spellbinders Champagne foil. This sentiment is stacked three high for additional support. I glued the sentiment in the center of the smaller circle and added a few PFS Gold Metallic Pearls for good measure. Everything was then, of course, adhered to the card base.

These washi tapes make it so easy to create beautiful cards with minimal effort! If you haven’t tried them, I highly encourage you to do so. Thanks again for stopping by. Don’t forget to stay your awesome, wonderful self!

PinkFresh Studio Golden Sunflower Hello

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome back! I hope you’re having a great day! Today’s project is featuring the PinkFresh Studio Sunflowers Washi! I love all of the washi tapes that PFS has to offer, and this one is no different! They are just a great product for making quick, yet beautiful cards! Let’s run through the details shall we?

To begin, I rolled out a panel of PFS Sunflowers Washi Tape onto a panel of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock and ran that through the die cutting machine using the coordinating die. You end up with so many pieces of gorgeous flowers and leaves .. enough to make at least two cards worth!

For the background, I used the SSS Detail Pincushion Plate. I used the embossing mat and embossed the panel onto purple cardstock, and then die cut the panel from Neenah 110. I added some liquid glue to the back of the white panel and popped it right into place over the purple panel. It fits so nicely and looks like you spent a ton of time inlaying all the beautiful pieces.

I played around with the placement of the flowers and leaves and guess what, I determined that I needed some additional leaves! I’m not kidding, I think every card that I make needs additional leaves! Anyhoo, I used the PFS Leafy Branch die to cut some of those from gold cardstock.

The sentiment is from the PFS Perfect Sentiments product suite. In this case, I used the hot foil plate to foil the sentiments onto a panel of Neenah 110lb using Spellbinders Gold Foil, and used the coordinating die to trim them out. I did cut it two more additional times and adhered those together using liquid glue.

I began arranging and assembling the flowers and leaves using a combination of glue and foam tape for support, tucking leaves under as necessary. The sentiment was then glued atop the flowers and the whole panel was adhered to the card base using SSS Dot Tape Runner.

That finishes up this project! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope it inspires you to get crafty! If you haven’t tried any of the PinkFresh Studio washi tapes, I definitely recommend them! Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!

PinkFresh Studio Framed Sunflowers

Hello Friends and thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad that you joined me for my project today, which features the newly released Sunflowers Washi from PinkFresh Studio. I am in love with all of PinkFresh’s washi tapes! They make for such easy, yet beautiful projects! If you haven’t tried them, I highly recommend them! So, let’s go through the details for this project!

To begin, I rolled out the PFS Sunflowers Washi onto a panel of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock and ran it through to die cut it using the coordinating die. Once I had all of the pieces, I began working on the design of the card. I used the PFS Diagonal Stitched Plaid to cut a panel of Neenah 110lb, and I used the PFS Stitched Scallop Square to cut those from the same cardstock.

I did some light ink blending on the stitched plaid background using PFS Sunshine ink before adhering the stitched frames using foam tape. I set out to arrange the pieces of washi atop the frames to figure out the placement. Upon doing so, I decided that I needed some gold leaves, so I used the PFS Leafy Branch die to cut that from polished gold cardstock.

I arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered those using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape, tucking pieces under to fill in the gaps. Once everything was assembled, I adhered the sentiment, which is from the PFS Celebrating You product suite. I already had this sentiment made in my stash, but to make it, I used Spellbinders Champagne Foil to foil the thinking of you sentiment, and trimmed it using the coordinating die. I also cut it two additional times and glued all of those together. The sentiment was then adhered to my project using the same combination of glue and foam tape for support.

The panel was then attached to the card base using SSS Dot Tape Runner, and PFS Gold Metallic Pearls were added for that additional pop of bling!

That finishes up this project! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope it inspires you to get crafty in your space! Have yourself a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!

Pinkfresh studio great friend

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome back to my blog! I hope you are doing well and having a beautiful day! Today’s project is featuring a favorite product of mine, PinkFresh Studio washi tape! I just can’t get enough! I recently HAD to order three more sets, including this one, Hydrangea and Rose! It’s just so beautiful! All of the washi sets are absolutely gorgeous, and really make for quick, easy and beautiful cards! So let’s get into the details!

I began this project by grabbing a piece of Fluid Hot Press Watercolor paper. This is just the paper that I have on hand. I did some very light ink smooshing using Distress Oxide Spray Spun Sugar, and set it aside to dry.

I went ahead and die cut both of the PinkFresh Stitched Scalloped Rectangles from Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock. I separated the larger of the frames and adhered foam tape to the back of it, as well as, adhering some to the smaller frame. I had already gotten my PinkFresh Hydrangea and Rose washi tape ready to go. I usually do four or five sets at a time and put them all in a baggie so that they are ready when I want to use them. And to do this, I cut a sheet of Neenah 110lb in half lengthwise, adhere the washi and use the coordinating die to cut them.

I trimmed the watercolor panel just smaller than the larger frame and went ahead and adhered those together, and then I adhered the smaller frame in the center. I die cut the PinkFresh Leafy Branch from gold cardstock, because I love adding those extra pops of gold to bring out the gold from the washi tape. I also gold foiled the sentiment using the PinkFresh Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate, along with the coordinating die. When cutting the sentiment, I also cut extra from additional cardstock for stacking purposes.

I adhered the pieces of the sentiment together using liquid glue and began playing around with the placement of everything. I glued the gold leaves first and then arranged everything else atop the leaves and frames using a combination of glue and foam tape. To finish up, I added some PinkFresh Gold Metallic Pearls and adhered everything to my card base, which is Neenah 110lb.

That finishes up this project for today! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you’ll check out the PinkFresh Studio washi tapes. Very easy to use and oh so great for quick, yet beautiful cards! Have an awesome day and don’t forget to stay awesome!
