Simon Says Stamp Sketched Rose Faith

Hello Crafty Friends! Thanks for stopping by! I’m still playing with goodies from the newest, To the Moon release, from Simon Says Stamp! What a fun release this is! Today’s project is featuring the new Sketched Rose Trio. I’m really enjoying working with these foil plates and matching dies! Let’s get right into the deets for this project!

I began by foiling the Sketched Rose Trio twice on Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock using Spellbinders Aura foil. I used Copic Markers G82, YG61, Y08, Y13 and Y15 to color these before using the included die cut to trim them out.

For the background, I trimmed a panel using the SSS Detail Petal Plate. Such an easy way to add interest and texture without distracting from the main focal point! I played with the arrangement and decided that I wanted some additional leaves and opted for the SSS Etched Meadow Flower and Leaves, and I think these ended up being the perfect addition.

To assemble the card, I adhered the white leaves first using liquid glue, and then I glued in the green leaves atop those. The bottom three flowers were glued directly to the panel, while the top two flowers were adhered using foam tape for dimension. I chose a SSS Sentiment Strip that would complement the card nicely and glued that across the flowers. To finish up, I added some PinkFresh Studio Gold Metallic Pearls and adhered my panel to the card base, which is also Neenah 110, using foam tape again.

That does it for this one! Have you checked out the new To the Moon release yet? I always enjoy seeing what new products Simon will release! Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!

Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Birthday Wishes

Hello Lovely! I’m so glad that you stopped by! I’ve had so much fun playing with the goodies from Simon’s newest release, To the Moon! Today’s card was super fun, and is featuring a new stamp set, Love Garden Greetings. Let’s go through the deets!

This project started with a mini slimline panel of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock. I put the panel in my little makeshift splat box and added some Dina Wakely Gloss Sprays in Lemon, Lime, Magenta and Ocean in rainbow order. I received these sprays in a set as a birthday gift, and I just have to say that, I love them! I did end up adding two coats just to intensify the colors some.

Once the panel was dry, I stamped the SSS Love Garden Greetings on it using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it using Ranger Clear Embossing Powder. I also stamped the sentiment and the tiny bows in the same manner.

I wanted the hearts to stand out, so I used the SSS Mini Hearts Party die and cut those out of SSS Holographic cardstock. Those were then adhered atop the stamped hearts using foam tape for dimension.

If I’m being completely honest here, I totally forgot about using a mini slimline die for the edges of the panel. I was quite annoyed with myself too! I just think that those edge details add so much to your projects! To remedy my lack of interest on the edges of the panel, I used the PinkFresh Studio Slim Strips die to cut some black strips. It was the best idea that I had! The strips were then adhered to the top and bottom of the panel with liquid glue.

To finish up, I added a bunch of Studio Katia Onyx Crystals for even more interest. The panel was then adhered to the card base with foam tape.

That does it for this card! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope it inspires you to get crafty! If you haven’t checked out these gloss sprays, I encourage you to do so! They really are a lot of fun! Stop by and check out the entire To the Moon release and let me know your favorites! Have yourself a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!

Simon Says Stamp Polka Hearts

Hello! Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I’m still playing with goodies from the new Simon Says Stamp release, To the Moon! Today’s project is featuring the super cute Polka Hearts stencil set, so let’s get to it!

I began by taping the stencil to a mini slimline panel of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock. I started with the circles, and ink blended those using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Bubblegum and Sweets. I lightly ink blended the Bubblegum and then added some shading with the Sweets ink. Next, I ink blended the hearts in the middle of the circles using SSS ink in Taffy.

Once the ink blending was completed, I added the heart stencil back to the panel and added some Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel for some sparkle. I set that aside and worked on the elements for the rest of the card. I die cut the SSS Streamer Ribbons twice from SSS Matte Silver cardstock and twice from Neenah 110lb and adhered those together using liquid glue. I also die cut the SSS Love Your Guts once from the same silver cardstock and twice from Neenah 110lb and glued those together as well.

I trimmed the panel using the PinkFresh Studio Blanket Stitch Mini Slimline die, and adhered the streamers to the top and bottom. I then adhered the sentiment in the middle of the panel using liquid glue. The panel was then adhered to a panel of SSS Doll Pink cardstock using foam tape for dimension.

Everything was then adhered to the card base, which is also Neenah 110lb cardstock. No card is complete without a little bling, so I added some PinkFresh Studio Silver Metallic Pearls.

I actually love how this card turned out, and I love the subtle sparkly hearts! I hope you enjoyed it as well. Don’t forget to check out the entire To the Moon release, you won’t be disappointed! Have a wonderful day and stay awesome!

Simon Says Stamp Love Your Heart

Hello Friend, and thanks for joining me today for more goodness from the newest Simon Says Stamp release, To the Moon! Today’s project is featuring the brand new Polka Hearts Stencil set. Is that not the cutest name ever?! Anyhoo, let’s jump right in!

I used this stencil in an unconventional manner for this card, but I like thinking outside the box sometimes. I began by taping the stencil to a scrap of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock, and applying SSS Glitz Glitter Gel in Cherry through that. I set that aside to dry while I cleaned my supplies and worked on the rest of the card.

For the background, I used the SSS Magnetic Embossing Folder and did some light ink blending in the center using PinkFresh Studio Candy Apple ink. I trimmed the panel down because I always like to mount my panels against black cardstock for contrast.

I carefully fussy cut three of the glitter hearts and foam mounted them to the embossed panel and adhered a SSS Sentiment Strip across the center one using liquid glue.

The panel was then foam mounted to a black panel using foam tape before being adhered to the card base, which is also Neenah 110lb.

Super simple card, but I like the simplicity of it! And, I like using stencils in different ways! Stop by and check out the entire To the Moon release, and let me know what you think of it! Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Love You Peony

Hello Crafty Lovelies! Thanks for joining me for the brand new, To the Moon release from Simon Says Stamp! Today’s project is featuring the Peony and Leaves die cut. Let’s jump right into the details!

To begin this project, I cut the SSS Peony and Leaves four times. Once from Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock, once from mirror gold cardstock, once from pink cardstock, and once from peacock cardstock. I cut it from the colors, because I was wanting to do an inlay technique.

For the background, I cut a panel with the SSS Stitched Whirl Background using Neenah 110lb. I also used the SSS Privet Branch for additional leaves. I cut those from Neenah 110lb, as well as, the mirror gold cardstock. I began by deciding the leaf placement under the flower and secured those using liquid glue. I offset the top gold leaf slightly so that both set of leaves would be visible.

Once the leaves were secured, I glued the white and mirror gold flowers together, and then glued that directly over the larger leaves on the panel. I did some light ink blending on the colored cardstock using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Bubblegum and Ocean for a little shadowing on the flower and leaves.

I then began inlaying the pieces securing them with liquid glue. To simplify this process, after I die cut the flowers from the colored cardstock, I used some Press N Seal to hold them together in place. That was such a time saver! Once all of the pieces were adhered, I added some PinkFresh Studio Gold Metallic Pearls to the berry portion of the die.

For the sentiment, I opted for the SSS Everyday Words on a Line. I die cut the Love You once from Neenah 110lb and once from mirror gold and glued those together, trimming off the ends, and then glued that directly to my panel. To finish up, I adhered the panel to my card base using foam tape for added dimension.

That finishes up this project! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope it inspires you to get crafty! Stop by and check out the entire To the Moon release, and let me know your favorites! Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to stay awesome!
