Simon Says Stamp Leafy Thank You

Hello Friends, and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s project, which features one of my favorite older products. I love florals and leaves, and I regularly go to the Privet Branch, and I just love this color combo as well. Let’s run through the deets super quick!

NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

I cut my background panel using the A2 Postage Rectangles and gold splattered that for added interest. The color combo used here is from the Color Cubes, and I just think they go together so well. If I’m being honest, I don’t know what two of these colors are, because they were already cut and stashed in the envelope with the die cut. I’ll link to the ones that I do know though.

The background was adhered to the card base using foam tape, and I arranged the leaves and secured those in place with liquid glue. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink, heat embossed using white embossing powder and stacked for more dimension. I added a few gold embellishments to finish up.

If I have extra die cuts, I usually keep them with the die itself and that way, I can pull a card together pretty quickly sometimes. Thanks again for stopping by, and I hope you have a great day!
