Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Friend Floral

My project for today is featuring several new products including the Beautiful Friend die, the Country Basket Bouquet and the Nested Stitched Rectangles. Let’s go ahead and go through the details!

I began this project by die cutting the flowers and leaves from the Country Basket Bouquet from various colors of cardstock from my stash. I then did some ink blending on those pieces before assembling the flowers. I’ll list the colors used at the bottom of this post for your convenience. The background was created using the Nested Stitched Rectangles and some gold splatter for a bit of added interest.

The sentiment was cut once from gold cardstock and twice from Neenah to create a stacked sentiment. As a side note, I opted not to use the shadow portion of this die. I measured out the center and secured the sentiment in place with liquid glue, and then began adhering the florals and leaves in place. The larger flower in either corner was cut twice with a foam square in between those layers for some added dimension.

The entire panel was adhered to the card base with foam tape to finish up. I hope you like this project as much as I do. We all know that I love working with florals!
