And don’t forget, there will be a Day Two of the Blog Hop happening as well! Even more chances to win! My card today is featuring the new Gentle Layers Floral Wreath, along with the new Little Banners Basics. So, let’s run through the details!

Main Products:

I began this project by die cutting all of the pieces of the wreath from Neenah 110lb cardstock and doing some ink blending using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Sprout, Seafoam, Lilac, Sunbeam, Honey, Dew and Aspen. Once all of the ink blending was complete, I adhered the pieces together with liquid glue and adhered those to the wreath.

For my background panel, I used the SSS Wistful Leaves Embossing Folder and embossed a panel of Neenah 110lb cardstock and then splattered it with gold acrylic ink for added interest. I always say this, but I felt like I needed more leaves, so I used the SSS Winsome Branch and cut some of those from white and gold cardstock. The wreath was glued to the embossed panel and I tucked the extra leaves in place and secured those with a bit more glue.

I used the Hello sentiment from the new SSS Little Banners Basics set and cut the banner from Neenah cardstock and cut the shadow portion from gold cardstock, adhering those with glue and then adhering it to the panel with SSS 3D Foam Strips. To finish up, I adhered the panel to the card base with foam tape before adding some PFS Gold Metallic Pearls.

That does it for this one! I hope you enjoyed it, and don’t forget to join in the Blog Hop for your chance to win! Thanks again for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing day! You can follow along the Hop below.

    Dear Tracy –

This is gorgeous! It has a very elegant, sophisticated feel to it…. while not being overdone or fussy. Love it! Always interested to see what you post and always impressed once I do.

LOVE your card! Every time Simon SAys comes out with these releases I go crazy trying to decide if I want to purchase something from them! This wreath really made me pause since I don’t really have any wreath die cuts!

Thanks so much Patty! Wreaths are really cool because you can do so much layering, if you want to of course. My other absolute favorite wreath of theirs is the Etched Eucalyptus Wreath. Totally a favorite of mine! You should check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by to comment, I truly appreciate it! I hope you have a great rest of your weekend sweet lady!

Thanks so much Vicki! My Mom loved all of my cards, and I miss her terribly each and every day. She saved every single one that I ever gave her, even the hideous ones! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment, I truly appreciate it. And thank you for reminding me about a Mom memory. Have a fabulous weekend, Vicki.
